christmas gift ideas kids 2020
legos / duplo /mega blocks [check prices]
Such a great gift for any age! There are so many sizes to choose from - the large Mega blocks, medium Duplo blocks or the small regular blocks. Depending on the age of the child you are buying for, there is a perfect size for you!
ok to wake alarm clock
This alarm clock is awesome because it won’t necessarily wake up Benjamin (who is 5 years old) but it turns green when he is allowed to get up and get out of the room. This is great for kids who can’t tell time yet but who are not in a crib anymore and can freely roam the house when they are awake!
essential oils
Incorporating essential oils into the night time routine of our kids has been awesome. Children are such creatures of habit (and I know I am!) and this helps them to know when it’s bedtime and time to calm down and get ready to sleep. We LOVE Plant Therapy and they have some great Holiday Sales going on so check them out here!
ball pit / pool & balls
This ball pit / pool is the most amazing thing ever! We use it double duty - as a pool with water outside AND inside as a ball pit (go for about 1,000 balls for a pit this size). I love this particular pool/ ball pit because it is NOT AIR and it folds up all nice and neat!
dit natural lip balm kit!
Our very own creation! We worked hard on making this cute, easy, affordable and fun lip balm kit!
splash pad
This splash pad has been such a great addition to our outside toys. It’s the perfect size and price.
drawing items [check out favs here]
We love to encourage drawing and reading so we are getting our kids a bunch of different notebooks, pens, markers and crayons this year for Christmas. BUT ALSO, there is a really cool NO MESS coloring book that I highly recommend for kids that are not under supervision and tend to make huge messes ( … toddlers, I’m looking at you!)
adventures in odyssey [check prices]
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Adventures in Odyssey. These are a great resource to encourage listening skills and even I as an adult get sucked into the stories! I especially love the mystery ones =) We also love them because they have a moral to the story or a teaching point at the end of every episode. It’s a great way to bring in the Christian values and viewpoints with kids in an easy and organic manner. I remember listening to these stories as a kid growing up and now I’m excited that I can introduce my kids to them.
headphones
These are awesome for car trips or if you have multiple kids in close proximity and they all need to listen or watch something. Comfortable and a great price.
bubble machine
What kid doesn’t love bubbles?!?!?
books
Some of our favorite books! Check ‘em out here.
action figures
bath bombs
Bath bombs are such a great way to help get kids into the bath (which can be such a struggle!)
binoculars
blankets
blocks
A great way for kids to have imaginative play. Multiple kids can play with them at one time and they are so versatile!
