HOW TO MAKE EASY HOMEMADE ALFREDO SAUCE!

EASY Alfredo Sauce !!

To make this DELICIOUS EASY HOMEMADE ALFREDO SAUCE… here are the ingredients you will need.

Ingredients:

  • Fettuccine Noodles

  • 2 cups Chicken breast (we used the pre-cooked grilled chicken strips from Costco) (and to Jazz it up some Better than Bouillon chicken paste) Steamed Broccoli

CREAM SAUCE:

  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 4 Garlic Cloves

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

  • 1 1/4 cups Parmigiano-Reggiano

  • 1/2 cup Pecorino Romano

  • 1/4 Low-Moisture Mozzarella Cheese Shreds (or 4 oz cream cheese)

  • (we used garlic infused butter, but you can just use a little more garlic (1 clove) plus 4 Tablespoons butter)

Set a big pot of water, about half full, to boil and SALT your pasta water. We are talking about 3-4 Tablespoons here people! Pasta noodles absorb water as they cook; LOTS of salt in water allows the pasta noodles to receive FLAVOR as they expand and cook. So think ocean saltiness when you pour in your salt!! Don't sprinkle... POOUUURRRRRR it in.

When the water is boiling, pour your box of pasta in but keep the box on the top third of the pasta so you can slowly bend it around the pot as the water softens the lower portion. Don’t break the pasta noodles. Cover and simmer on medium-high heat.

In a smaller skillet cook your chicken breasts or heat up your pre-cooked chicken breast strips and add 4 oz of water and a heaping Tablespoon of Better than Bouillon paste. Sprinkle some salt, cracked pepper and oregano onto the chicken. Heat on medium/low until the rest of your dish is ready.

In a large skillet, melt your garlic butter, additional 2 T butter and chopped garlic. When this starts to sizzle a little bit, pour in your cream and let it start to heat up. Stir intermittently. When it's hot enough to melt the cheese and juuuust starts to bubble, add your Parmigiano-Reggiano and Pecorino Romano and stir. Next add your mozzarrella and stir to combine. Stir pretty consistently until all cheese is well combined and the sauce begins to thicken. Stir well with a silicone spatula and scrape the bottom of the skillet to make sure the sauce is not sticking to the bottom and burning.

When all parts of this dish are finished - layer your pasta on a plate, then chicken, broccoli, and Alfredo Sauce.

ENJOY!!!
